Commemorating John Fox, who in AD1836 founded a brewery on the site of a former malthouse in Green Street Green High Street, opposite Laxey Road. At its peak it employed 110 people but it closed in July 1909. During World War I the building was used as a barracks after which it was remained vacant and was finally knocked down in AD1937 to make way for a factory and later a housing estate.
