Place Name

This road was laid out in the gardens of Little Grove. There were once, no fewer than five fish ponds in the vicinity. The last – and largest – was constructed in the grounds of Little Grove after Frederick Cass bought the property in 1827. The house was knocked down in 1931, and all the lakes were filled in.
