In Surrey. One of a number of roads laid out on the old hospital grounds which are named after people connected with the former asylum. In this case after a Hospital attendant killed in France during the First World War. The site, on the Netherne farming estate, was chosen by Surrey County Council after the Brookwood Asylum had grown overcrowded.
