Uneeda Drive, UB6

Place Name

Laid out on agricultural land that was formerly Greenford farm. It was developed sometime between the First and Second World Wars. The origins of the name after uncertain and could possibly be after a company or product – long since forgotten. Or, more likely, it is a joke name as in “you need a (to) drive”. Ironically, the local train station is very close and the houses were not originally built with drives.
