One of a small cluster of streets that are named after ports, probably inspired by the local connection to Odessa. La Spezia is a port city, in the Liguria region, of northern Italy. It is the chief naval base in Italy. See also Ancona Road, Leghorn Road, Odessa Road, and Palermo Road.
