Place Name
This was developed by Charles Sansom as part of the Fillebrook Estate on the land that was originally part of Wallwood Farm sometime around 1879 – 1882. Despite the temptation to assume it is a reference to Queen Victoria, it is not a reference to any particular monarch since the parallel road is King’s Road. Also sometime spelt Queens Road.
