Place Name
After Reverend William Henry Pincott, first Vicar of Christ Church, Bexleyheath, who served between 1866 and 1878. This street has gone through numerous name changes. It was previously called Station Road; Jenkins Lane, after a woman called Jenkins who, kept a toy shop on the corner of the lane; and Occupation Road.
