Literal. Agricultural heritage. Named after Old Farm that has stood on a spot near here from at least the mid-16thCentury. The farm was located at the southern end of Halfway Street, close to where it becomes Station Road. It was demolished in the 1930s and became the site of the Odeon cinema.
