Place Name
Previously called Avenue Road. Kitcat Terrace commemorates the Reverend Henry James Kitcat (born 1860), rector of St Mary’s Bow from 1904 to 1921. He was responsible for building the parish hall. He was one of the 11 children of James Butler Kitcat, a travelling glass salesman.
