Place Name
Named after the developers Drysdale Trust Limited, a property holding company, owned by the Allen family. The street was laid out over agricultural fields in the early part of the 20thCentury and the company was wound up on the 31st day of July, 1953 when an Extraordinary General Meeting of its members: “Resolved that the Company be wound up voluntarily and that Katherine Florence Allen of 22, South Avenue, Chingford, Essex, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”
