Place Name

Eustace Neville Craig lived at Beaufort House, Ham Street. He was an usher or sidesman at St Andrew’s Church, sat as a magistrate in Kingston, was on Ham Urban District Council for 16 years and was its chairman from 1920 until 1926. The road was named to honour him for all his good work he did for Ham. He was also an inventor. This road, which was originally a footpath, was named in 1923.
