Place Name
This was the road that led to Bromley Police (Magistrates’) Court. It was previously an unnamed road only taking on its present name when the court, designed by C Cowles Voysey, was built in 1939 as part of a complex of municipal buildings. The court became redundant in 1996 and reopened as Community House four years later.
