Place Name

Named after the area in County Waterford, in Ireland, which was the former home of Sir William Palliser, who developed Fulham’s North End estate and is said to have named it Baron’s Court. Wray Palliser and his wife Anne Gledstanes moved there sometime after their son Sir William was born. These were previously the livery stables. It is one of a cluster of roads named after Sir William’s family connections.
