Place Name
Named after the licensee of the Green Man public house, Bruce Johnson, who was listed in the Post Office Directory of 1855. The pub was at 143 High Street, Barnet, but having been rebuilt it was closed down for good in 2006. Most of the houses in the road were knocked down to make way for the Spires shopping centre.
