Place Name

Site of a house called Bohemia Palace 1578 – 1796, built by a London merchant. It is said to have been occupied by Frederick V of the Palatinate and son-in-law to James I, who became King of Bohemia in 1619. There is no documentary evidence but the house contained the coat of arms of both kings in the windows.
