Place Name
One of a cluster of roads that were laid out by the British Land Company as part of the Leyton Hall estate development. They were named after places in northwest Kent, in the order that they were built they are: Bromley, Westerham, Dunton [Green], Bickley and Shortlands. The street was made up between 1902 and – 1903.
