Place Name
First occupied sometime around 1877, this was originally called Forest Road, it was renamed about 1891, probably to avoid confusion with other Forest Roads. The name, after a group of shrubs which symbolise immortality, is a popular one for houses and streets. In September 1972 even numbers 50 to 64 were renumbered 86 to 90 even.
