Place Name
- Named in 1879 by Mr Culloden Rowan, one of the developers of Bycullah Park. He was also responsible for laying out Bycullah Road and Rowantree Road on the 54-acre estate. Building on the former Enfield Chase land near Windmill Hill and the Ridgeway was encouraged following the opening of the Great Northern Railway station in Enfield in 1871.
