Place Name
Although there is a slight bend in the road, it could hardly be decided a crescent. It in fact, so named because it runs off Crescent Road, which is itself named due to its arc shape. It is a relatively new road. Up until the 1950s it was an access road to a plant nursery’s greenhouses.
