Place Name
Named in honour of David Twigg, former mayor of Kingston Council, whose term ran from 1995 – 1996 and who died in November 1997. He had also served as the chair of the education and leisure services committee. This street was a redevelopment by the William Sutton Trust which did away with a group of medium high rise blocks. In 1998 it decided to redevelop part of the site in a more sympathetic manner.
