Place Name
Originally part of Overton Road and later Wiltshire Road, part of the Lambeth Wick estate and dating from the mid-19thCentury, this was renamed as part of major post-war redevelopment in the area by building of the Angell Town Estate in the early 1970s. The name reflects the meeting of five roads at one junction, in fact it is just four as Loughborough Road takes a sharp bend at the traffic lights.
