Place Name
Laid out sometime around 1895, it could be a reference to any number of royals. Albert, the Prince Consort, who died in 1861. Or it may have been a reference to one of his and Queen Victoria’s sons, the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII; Prince Albert who died in 1892; George, later George V, or one of the later generation, Edward, later Edward VIII or Albert George, who went on to become George VI. With no clues from nearby street names and no records left for prosperity, the exact person, if anyone, has been lost.
