Place Name
One of a small cluster of streets named after a tree-related theme and laid out over the site Grove Farm in the late 19thCentury as Leytonstone expanded following the opening of the railway station. Nearby roads include Ashville Road, Elm Road, Oakdale Road, and Pearcroft Road. The road was developed between 1879 and 1889. Developed as part of the Grove Green Lane Estate.
