Place Name
Thomas Henry Philip Beacham was elected as a Labour councillor to Greenwich Council in 1919, a year after the local party was formed. He was made mayor in 1929 and elected to the London County Council in the 1950s. This is one of a number of roads around Greenwich that are named after early Labour Party activists in the area.
