Place Name
Named after Cardinal Nicholas Wiseman (August 3, 1802 – February 15, 1865), the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster and great, if controversial, theological mind, who lived at Etloe House in Leyton, from 1858 to 1864. Part of the road was closed for the extension of Shenstone Works in 1920.
