Place Name
Thomas Belsham (April 26, 1750 – November 11, 1829) was a Unitarian preacher at the Old Gravel Pit Meeting House, Hackney, from 1794 until 1805. It took its name from the gravel pit near the bowling green in Mare Street. He was also resident tutor in divinity at Hackney College.
