Place Name
One of a cluster of streets named in honour of the great Victorian author Charles Dickens, the others being Dickens Drive, Dorrit Way and Pickwick Way. There is no local connection. It is a late 20thCentury housing estate built over the former properties called Fairlawn and Woodpeckers.
