Place Name
Alluding to the former wartime Prime Minister William Churchill, whose home was Chartwell just outside of Westerham. He bought the property in September 1922 and lived there until shortly before his death in January 1965. Following the war, a large number of roads were named in honour of the former Conservative leader.
