Place Name
Previously called Neptune Street after the Roman sea god. This road leads to Wellclose Square, which was so-called after the field that was here prior to development sometime around 1694.

Interesting. In 1881, my ancestors lived at 1 Neptune Street! While I realise this dwelling will have long ago been demolished, I would love to see old images of the dwellings.
