Place Name
Built on the former grounds of Plashet Hall, by Cameron Corbett, a large scale Victorian developer responsible for much of Newham’s urbanisation in the latter part of the 19thCentury. He named many roads after places in his native Scotland including this one after Monega Hill, a prominent feature to the south of Canlochan Glen, in the Cairngorms National Park.
