Bartlett Court, EC4A

Place Name

Named as far back as 1615 in the parish register after one Thomas Bartlett (also spelled Bartlet), King’s printer to Edward VI, who was granted the lease of an eating house called the Plough or Plow in Fetter Lane. The court occupies the site also of Bartlett’s Buildings.
